West Village Project

Project Description

This project in West Village, Brisbane involved the complete demolition of a multi-storey warehouse, including large-scale removal of all Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) and salvage of high-value timber beams.

This demolition held many challenges for our team, including restricted access, proximity to heritage buildings, public exposure and community sensitivity. The project also needed to be completed with minimal disturbance to neighbouring commercial properties and the general public.

Before project commencement, we conducted an extensive dilapidation report and Safe Work Method Statements. Our experienced team used a combination of manual and mechanical demolition techniques to safely deconstruct the building. We used our 20-tonne and 30-tonne excavators to carry out the removal and clearing process.

This project was completed within budget, on time and to plan.
